The success of Genco Services, Inc. (GIS) can be attributed to the extensive experience of its founder Murray Meggison. Murray started in the oilfield industry in 1980 with Fesco, Inc. and worked in the McAllen office until 1985.
At that time, he decided to leave Fesco to team up with a partner, Chris Klement and start Tri-Tech Petroleum Engineering. Tri-Tech was operational until it was sold in 1992 to Well Solutions where Murray stayed through 1994. Dawson Well Service then acquired Well Solutions where Murray remained until 1996.
That was the year that GIS got started. On June 16,1996 Murray
founded Genco Services, Inc. and has been servicing the rental equipment needs
of the oil business ever since. GIS has built a solid reputation in the industry
for delivering on its commitments, providing consistent and reliable service
and first-rate rentals.
Genco Energy Services, Inc. Announcement
I am pleased to announce the formation of Genco Energy Services, Inc., which has acquired the operations of Genco Services, Inc. This recapitalization will provide Genco the financial strength to continue to grow and expand our operations to support our customers with their expanding operations.
Genco Services will continue to operate without any interruption to our services as we convert contracts now in place from Genco Services to Genco Energy Services.
Further this change has enabled Genco to invest in new software and implement new procedures to drastically improve our billing turnaround time and better meet our customer need for prompt job end billing.
I am delighted we have achieved this change and look forward to continued support of our customers with the same, or better, quality of service we have to date.
